Christmas Eve started out with this precious little angel singing her heart out at church.

She did such an Awesome job! I am one proud mama!!!

Christmas Eve was busy with church, then family lunch and then thanks to Dorian,Jessie, Daniel and Thomas we played Santa's Helpers and we put together her "Jumping Bean"..A.K.A. A trampoline. Thank you so much for your help!!

That night we baked some fresh cookies for Santa.

Do you think Santa likes these cookies?

I told her if she made a face I was posting it ;)...Meet my youngest sister Anna.

Fresh out of the oven, but cooled down just enough for her.

She set Rudolph's carrot outside so he could rest why Santa was in the house putting presents out. Anna wrote the note for her.

Putting Santa's cookies and milk out.

I love how she is so into reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" :)

Just loved Madeline's age this year. She was/is so into Christmas. It was so magical seeing Christmas thru the eyes of a 4 year old.

Our Christmas tree started popping out with odd decorations on the tree...I wonder who was putting them there? ;)

Photobucket

Thank you Alica and Addison for the "M". It was a perfect addition.

Photobucket

And of course our new favorite from Christy..."A fire truck just like Mommy's" as she proceeded to make the siren every time she saw it.

Photobucket

Shhhh......Santa paid a visit...He left two of his elves.

Christmas Post Part I...Gingerbread House

It has been two weeks or better since I posted. In my defense I did try last week but for some reason it did not allow me to post. Our Christmas was wonderful, peaceful and just perfect. I have so many pictures that I am going to post a couple of blogs. I am home with a sick child, she is asthmatic and is having a flare up, I have a mostly clean house (with the Christmas tree fully intact...more on that later) so I thought I would try to catch up.

Rewind to a couple days before Christmas...We made a gingerbread house.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Caught her swiping some icing...Look at the guilty look on her face :)

Photobucket

Photobucket

Forget swiping it with her finger, she found the entire icing bag...

Photobucket

Photobucket

I promise you some icing did get on the house.

Photobucket

The finished house...

Photobucket

Photobucket

I saw her snacking on a piece of ginger bread, I snapped the picture and went on my merry way. I didn't think anything about it as there was a couple of spare pieces.

Photobucket

Until I came across the house later and I seriously fell on the floor laughing.

Photobucket

Apparently if you put the headless gingerbread back where it belongs no one will notice it...

This is my favorite picture of the night. Love her look of concentration, her tiny nose, her eye lashes...Well I just "Lub" everything about her..

Christmas Party Fun

Once again a week has almost past with out me updating. I could go on and on about how busy we are but frankly that would bore myself. Instead how about I show you what my sweet little Mad and I have been up to....

Photobucket
It was Freddy the cat 1st Birthday this week...Of course all celebrations are not complete without Sponge Bob Square Pants Birthday Hats.

I have been helping with the Needy Person Fund at the City Police Dept since I was pregnant with Madeline. It is a great organization that helps out local families during the holidays. Donations from the community help fund this organization. I decided last year Madeline was old enough to start going with me as we shopped. I am not sure how much she comprehended last year but this year she was all into it. I sat down and explained that some people had no money and needed help so we needed to go shop for them. I wanted to make sure that she knew that Christmas was more than getting things for herself. Yes, the real reason of Christmas is about the birth of Jesus, but it is also about helping others. How better than to share the love of Jesus than to be giving to others. She was more than happy to help "The little boy", so we headed to Wal-Mart.

We started off with a little energy kick off..

and of course we can't live on MnM Mc Flurry

Photobucket

After filling up on flurries and pretzels, we gathered up our buggy and headed to do some major shopping.

Of course we had to try out ALL the Boy Toys....

Photobucket
She needed to see what a "Boy bike with no girlies on it" rode..:)

I found out that my girlie likes to shop, but most of all that she also likes to help others. That makes her Mama very happy.

This weekend was filled with Christmas parties and programs. As a member of several fire departments Madeline was invited to a couple of kids Christmas parties. Not that she was complaining...

Party #1...Mountain Home Fire Dept....

I just LOVE the expression on her face....

Do you see a "Chocolate Theme"?

Of course Ariel likes to sit on TOP of the police cruiser...Why wouldn't she

I want to say Thank-you to both fire departments for putting on wonderful parties for the kids. They absolutely had the best time.

I have had the opportunity to do several shoots this week, be on the look out for lots of sweet pictures coming up.

Want to see what happens to a 4 year old on a Chocolate,Santa and presents overload???
