To the moon and back

Sorry I have not posted in a week. Life is a little bit crazy right now. I would like to blame it on the holiday's but honestly my life is always crazy. It is OK though, I like it just the way it is. I love this time of year and even though I would love to sit back and enjoy, I love the hustle and bustle of this time of year. Every weekend in the month of December is slammed packed for us. Fire Dept. Christmas dinners, kids Christmas parties, Church programs and Christmas photo shoots are what my life consist of right now. That and spending time with Madeline.
There is nothing better than to enjoy the holidays thru the eyes of a 4 year old. :)....."Mommy we don't have a chimney how will Santa get in?", "Mommy will Santa remember the little kids who have no toys and bring them some?", "Mommy will the gunners gun Rudolph? If they do how will Santa pull his sled?....I assured her even though it was hunting season here Rudolph was safe and he would wear plenty of Orange. Also Santa for sure would remember the kids who have no toys. She accepted my answers and went on her merry way.....

We started off our busy weekends last weekend with the wedding of one of the drivers on the same shift as I. Jason and Leah's wedding was absolutely beautiful. They are such a sweet couple and will have a lifetime of happiness.

You can tell how much in love they are here :)

Madeline had a lot of fun at the reception. She was in awe with Leah. She kept calling her "The wedding girl princess".

Meet Madeline's other family...Miss Emma and Miss Carol. They also have a brother Jared but he declined to have his photo taken. Madeline has no problems at all in joining right in with this sweet family.

For being an only child she has a lot of brother's and sisters. I think for the most part they like to claim her also. :)

My baby girl will be 5 next month. I am having a hard time with it. Especially when I see pictures like this where she looks all grown up.

Even though she is going to be "a whole hand old" as she so proudly says it, she still loves being my baby girl. Every night we have a bedtime ritual. The most important thing is......

Jumping on the bed of course. How else are you going to get all sleepy???

Then there is the always which story(s) shall we read tonight delima.

And of course this book is usually the winner.

She is absolutely in love with all the Llama, Llama books right now. They really are a cute series. I recommend it for all children. As I have mentioned before I work 24 hour shifts. I try to keep a routine with her and she still wants me to read to her. So every morning she packs my bag with that evenings books. Then she calls me when she is in bed to read her story and say her prayers. It is not perfect but it works for us. In fact I just got off the phone with her.

Guess what??

She "Loves me to the moon and back"...
