Hawaii Part 1

Last week my sweet girl and I were on the beautiful beaches of Maui. Soaking up the sun, smells and beauty of Island life. Fast forward to this week...Instead of laying on the beach saoking up the sun in Maui, it's sitting on the couch after work in chilly North Carolina. Instead of a bathing suit, it's a work uniform and a sweat shirt. Instead of a nice sea breeze, it's a strong wind that is hindering local fire fighter's on a brush fire. Instead of vacation excitement it is post vacation blues. The one thing that stayed the same is that I have my baby girl right by my side...



Maui is perfect....







Being able to bond with my dad,Suzy, Giddeon and Caleb was wonderful.







The three kids bonded so well that they were just like brother and sister by the time we left.








I am missing the beach life right now...

If it wasnt the beach with her gentle breeze, rolling waves and sand squishing our toes, we were enjoying the park....









Snorkleing, boat rides,shopping in Lahaina and whale watching filled up the rest of our days...











Sleeping sweetie on the boat makes my heart swell with happiness...





Capturing a perfect whale's tale as she begins her plunge to the bottom of the sea makes me giggle with delight...




She is my sweet, nutty child :)

What is more sweet than this sleeping little sweetheart?
